Cobham Cougars Cruise to the Finish Line....

What a team and what a finish to the Track and Field competition season.

The Cobham team were spectacular. We were all so proud of allour Hurdlers, we went from one Cobham athlete in our first match to fourteen in our third and final match! Unbelievable that just a couple of Hurdle sessions and they were hooked.

Special mentions to our Hurdlers - so very impressed!! Sofia, Amelia, Cecillie, Mila, Giulia, Lucy, Lara, Maiija, Ella L, Brody, Michael, Tyler, Ahmad and Saxo.

Lukas was up next, the sole ACS 1500m runner. The 100m runners stormed to the finish with TK leading the whole field. Impressive times also from Ella S, Adela, Kelly, Mia, Teo and Iain. The 400m athletes should be equally proud with top times for Adela, Kasper, Griffin, Brodi, Amelia and Ruby.

Ella S, Mia, Gehrig, Herman and Nikolai all performed well in the 200m. The 2 lap 800m was definitely the race for Stella, winning for the girls and Griffin holding onto 4th place for the boys.

Meanwhile over in the Field events, TK once again led the whole field in the Long Jump. We had mighty leaps from Mey, Mia, Gehrig, Obi, Tyler, Mila, Maija, Kelly and Zahara.

The Shot Put saw Sofia, Caitlin, Chiharu, Kasper, Mert, Oscar and Jude launch the cannon ball to great distances.

ACS Cobham managed to race Seven relay teams in the 4 X 100m's! The support could be heard over in Lower School!!

It was a tremendous afternoon.

But the whole day was made by all the parents and supporters( Josh G out injured) and maybe the delicious Hot Dogs and super snacks provided by our PSO duo Giorgio and Peter - BIG THANKS.
