The Cougars jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Jack M led the way with a vital hit to bring in the first run. Cole N drove in an insurance run in the 5th inning with a double that scored John G. However, the game was dominated by a strong pitching performance from Andrew P and Cole N. The two pitchers combined to shut down the ASL line-up with a stellar pitching performance, allowing to only 2 hits while striking out 7 batters.
